Not having any actual work to do, and not wanting to let a warm sunny day go to waste, I launched the PT 11 and captured a few pictures of it; something I had neglected to do since first dropping it in the water last fall. Then I went for a sail around the harbor and marina. Well, half sail, half becalmed. A repeating pattern of about 5 minutes of the former followed by 5 minutes of the latter. Even in barely perceptible wind, the PT 11 makes enough speed to steer… and when the wind got up to, I’d guess 2-4 knots at times today, it starts scooting along nicely. I’m looking forward to a good 5-10 knot afternoon.
